Our Artistic Vision
We are Chaka
The sky connects us. Its sunset illuminates us. We feel that we are at home and that there are no borders that separate us. This is our new home.
The essence of our people, our history, and the connection links with our nature and with our culture, allow us to value and talk about the importance of life and care about the environment, through art, no matter the place on earth it is created. Each work exhibited here has an essence, a story to share.
CHAKA (which means “bridge” in Quechua, the language of our Inca ancestors) is that art space that connects us to speak about the same things, no matter how far we may be from one another. Is a cultural ecosystem that promotes the symbiosis between artists and artisans from all over the world who are inspired by nature and who have as the center of their work the rescue of ancestral techniques with the aim of raising awareness of environmental preservation.
We understand art as a bridge between nature, memory, and a deeper awareness of our relationship with the world. The gallery focuses on abstract and organic practices that reflect on the connections between human beings, time, memory, and environment.
We envision offering an experience of contemplation grounded in calm, respect, and the time necessary to encounter the works. In a cultural context shaped by acceleration and visual saturation, the gallery seeks to offer a space where art can be experienced through depth and reflection.
